Welcome, Fellow Travelers

Here at Roosevelt Baptist Church, we’re not just playing church or clinging to nostalgia. We are, by God’s grace, apprentices of King Jesus—learning to follow Him in all of life, for all of life. That means practicing the way of Jesus together: reading the sacred scriptures, praying with hope, confessing the creeds, living the commandments, and being formed as a people in His image.

You won’t find smoke machines here or a stage built for celebrities. What you’ll find is something ancient and alive. A people who believe the gospel is not a slogan but a summons. A fellowship of ragamuffins learning to bend the knee daily to the only King who conquers by dying and rules by rising.

We gather not to perform, but to participate. To join the sacred rhythms of worship, prayer, Scripture, and fellowship. Our desire is to be a light in this small corner of the world, echoing the bigger story that all creation longs for: the return of the King, who will make all the sad things come untrue.

So whether you're a skeptic, seeker, saint, or somewhere in between, we invite you to come. Bring your story. Bring your questions. Bring your longings. The King is on the move—and you’re invited to join the adventure.
